"Soar" 4x6 Gluecard
A word about gluecards. This is a quick and easy way to create something and keep the juices flowing. The idea is to gather images from the epherma (catalogs, junkmail, ticket stubs, wrapping paper), and cut bits out to make something pleasing to your eye. Then glue it to a card or book or what-have-you and that's all there is to it.

Altered Books are another passion of mine. The idea is simple. Take an unloved book with good binding and alter it into something lovely. The great thing about this artform is :
1. Recycling otherwise throwaway books
2. Convenience -putting lots of creativity into one single place (beats hanging 20 pictures all over your walls and then having no more room)
3. Anything goes -who says you can't use that scrap of paper you found on the street to build on a theme. Who says you have to do things "just so", it's your book, try new things, experiment!
